The Detroit Lakes SACC Program exists to meet the needs of area working/student parents and their children.  Our program  is for elementary age youth in grades K through 6.  This program believes in a relaxed and trusting environment.  It fosters the growth of your child(ren) toward becoming resourceful, sensitive, and independent.   We work on characteristics we believe will help develop your child(ren) to live in today’s world.  Our goal is to provide a safe, happy, and enriching environment.  With this in mind, the program seeks to provide activities for learning and fun with a limited amount of structure.  Although quiet space is provided for homework, we will not emphasize academic skills.  Parents must provide a lunch and beverage for all-day SACC.  Breakfast is provided for the summer program.  A nutritious snack is provided for after school and summer programs.
